The Temple Fork Outfitters Blitz Fly Rod was purpose-built for anglers chasing aggressive saltwater species that demand fast casts, quick reactions, and powerful fish-fighting performance. Designed specifically for the challenges of modern coastal and nearshore fly fishing, the Blitz delivers the speed, accuracy, and lifting power needed when opportunities appear without warning.
Featuring a fast-action blank with exceptional recovery speed, the Blitz excels at making quick, accurate presentations to moving fish. Whether you're targeting blitzing false albacore, feeding tarpon, cruising redfish, snook along mangroves, or nearshore pelagic species, the rod generates tight loops and powerful casts while maintaining the feel and control needed for accurate fly placement.
Developed with input from experienced saltwater fly anglers, the Blitz is designed to handle demanding conditions including wind, larger flies, heavier lines, and powerful fish. Its lightweight construction minimizes fatigue during long days on the water while providing the backbone needed to pressure hard-fighting saltwater species.
From Gulf Coast flats to beaches, passes, jetties, and nearshore waters, the TFO Blitz is built for anglers who need a high-performance saltwater fly rod capable of reacting as quickly as the fish they pursue.
