Z-Man DieZel MinnowZ

The Z-Man DieZel MinnowZ is a durable paddle-tail swimbait built for snook, redfish, spotted seatrout and other predators that feed on baitfish.

Made from Z-Man's 10X Tough ElaZtech, the DieZel MinnowZ combines exceptional durability with a realistic baitfish profile and active paddle tail that produces swimming action and vibration across a wide range of retrieve speeds.

A molded hook slot makes it easy to rig weedless around grass, mangroves and shallow cover, while the same bait can be paired with a jighead when you need to fish deeper water.

10X Tough ElaZtech Construction

One of the biggest advantages of the DieZel MinnowZ is durability.

Z-Man's ElaZtech material is engineered to be extremely tough, allowing the bait to withstand repeated strikes and aggressive saltwater predators without tearing as easily as conventional soft plastics.

That means fewer bait changes and more time fishing.

ElaZtech is also naturally buoyant, giving the DieZel MinnowZ additional movement and rigging versatility in the water.

Active Paddle-Tail Action

The DieZel MinnowZ features a paddle tail designed to produce strong swimming action and vibration.

The tail continues working across different retrieve speeds, allowing anglers to adjust the presentation to conditions.

Slow-roll it around structure, swim it steadily across a grass flat or increase the retrieve speed when predators are actively chasing bait.

Realistic Baitfish Profile

Molded dorsal, pectoral and ventral fins add detail to the DieZel MinnowZ's baitfish profile.

Combined with the swimming tail and available color patterns, the design can imitate a variety of common Florida forage, including:

• Pilchards
• Threadfin herring
• Small mullet
• Sardines
• Other inshore baitfish

Built for Weedless Rigging

An integrated hook slot makes the DieZel MinnowZ particularly well suited for weedless rigging.

Pair it with a weighted swimbait hook when fishing:

• Seagrass
• Mangrove shorelines
• Oyster bars
• Shallow flats
• Docks
• Potholes
• Weed lines
• Snag-prone cover

This is one of the most useful ways to fish the DieZel MinnowZ in Florida because it lets you put a paddle-tail swimbait directly into areas where snook and redfish frequently feed.

Fish It on a Jighead

The DieZel MinnowZ also works extremely well on a jighead when vegetation and cover allow an exposed hook.

Use a jighead around:

• Bridges
• Passes
• Channels
• Jetties
• Docks
• Deeper flats
• Drop-offs
• Deeper potholes

Adjust jighead weight for current, water depth and the speed of your retrieve.

Choosing the Right Size

4" DieZel MinnowZ — An excellent all-around inshore size for snook, redfish and trout. The smaller profile closely matches much of the everyday forage found throughout Florida's inshore waters.

5" DieZel MinnowZ — Provides a larger baitfish profile when predators are feeding on bigger forage or when you're deliberately targeting larger snook, redfish and other aggressive gamefish.

Both sizes provide the same durable ElaZtech construction and proven paddle-tail swimming action.

Excellent for Florida Inshore Fishing

The DieZel MinnowZ is an especially good fit for Florida's Gulf Coast because it can transition easily between the different environments anglers encounter throughout a day.

Target:

• Snook
• Redfish
• Spotted Seatrout
• Tarpon
• Flounder
• Jack Crevalle
• Spanish Mackerel
• Other inshore predators

Fish it weedless across a shallow grass flat in the morning, then put it on a jighead when you move to deeper structure or stronger current.

Why Choose the Z-Man DieZel MinnowZ?

The DieZel MinnowZ combines three things that matter in an everyday inshore swimbait: action, versatility and durability.

It can be rigged weedless for shallow grass and mangroves or put on a jighead for deeper water and structure.

More importantly, the 10X Tough ElaZtech construction means the bait can withstand repeated strikes better than many conventional soft plastics — particularly useful when you're around aggressive saltwater species.

Premier Tackle Take

The Z-Man DieZel MinnowZ is one of those soft plastics that makes sense to keep rigged throughout a day of Florida inshore fishing.

For grass flats and mangrove shorelines, we'd rig it weedless on a weighted swimbait hook and work it around the cover.

When you move to deeper potholes, bridges, passes or other areas where an exposed hook isn't a problem, put it on the appropriate jighead and keep fishing.

The 4" is our all-around size, while the 5" makes sense when the forage is larger or you're looking for a bigger profile.

The combination of a proven paddle-tail action and Z-Man's durable ElaZtech material makes the DieZel MinnowZ a simple, dependable option for snook, redfish and trout.
