Premier Tackle Insight
At Premier Tackle, YETI ICE has become one of the most popular cooler accessories for anglers wanting to improve cooler efficiency without relying entirely on loose ice.
What makes YETI ICE stand out is the combination of:
- Long-lasting cooling performance
- Durability
- Reusability
- Cleaner cooler management
- Excellent pairing with premium coolers
For Gulf Coast anglers, we especially like YETI ICE for:
- Offshore fishing trips
- Fish boxes
- Long summer boat days
- Drink coolers
- Soft cooler setups
- Keeping bait and food colder longer
The biggest advantage is how well YETI ICE works as an ice supplement. When combined with regular ice, it helps maintain colder overall cooler temperatures and slows ice melt noticeably during long days in Florida heat.
The Thin Ice versions are also excellent for:
- Hopper soft coolers
- Lunch bags
- Tight storage areas
- Day trips
- Travel coolers
This is the type of cooler accessory anglers quickly start using constantly because it reduces mess, improves ice retention, and performs extremely well in harsh marine environments.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does YETI ICE replace regular ice?
YETI ICE works best as an ice supplement to help regular ice last longer, though Thin Ice versions can work alone for shorter trips and pre-chilled contents.
Is YETI ICE reusable?
Yes. YETI ICE is fully refreezable and reusable for repeated cooler use.
What size YETI ICE should I use?
Smaller sizes work well for lunch bags and soft coolers, while 2 lb and 4 lb versions are ideal for larger hard coolers and offshore applications.
Is YETI ICE good for fishing?
Absolutely. YETI ICE performs exceptionally well for offshore fishing, boating, fish boxes, drink coolers, and long Gulf Coast summer fishing trips.
