The Shimano Terez BW Deep Drop Conventional Rod is a heavy-duty offshore rod built specifically for deep drop fishing, electric reel applications, and targeting powerful bottom species in extreme depths. Designed for serious offshore anglers, the Terez BW Deep Drop delivers the lifting power, durability, and sensitivity needed for deep-water fishing while maintaining a lighter, more refined feel than traditional heavy offshore rods.
Constructed with Shimano’s advanced Terez blank technology, the rod provides impressive strength and responsiveness for fishing deep structure, ledges, wrecks, and offshore bottom terrain. The powerful backbone is designed to handle heavy sinkers, deep-water rigs, and hard-fighting fish while still offering enough tip sensitivity to detect bites in deep current and challenging conditions.
Built to pair perfectly with electric reels and conventional offshore setups, the Terez BW Deep Drop is ideal for targeting species like snowy grouper, tilefish, yellowedge grouper, queen snapper, and other deep-water bottom fish. Premium offshore-grade components and reinforced guide construction help ensure long-term reliability under heavy drag loads and repeated offshore use.
The ergonomic handle design improves comfort and leverage during extended deep drop trips, while the rod’s lightweight construction helps reduce fatigue when fishing heavy tackle all day.
Whether deep dropping in the Gulf, fishing offshore ledges, or targeting deep-water species in strong current, the Shimano Terez BW Deep Drop Conventional Rod is built for serious offshore performance.
