Built for serious offshore anglers pursuing powerful pelagic gamefish, the Shimano Tallus Stand-Up Trolling Rod delivers exceptional strength, advanced blank technology, and tournament-grade offshore performance designed for demanding bluewater fishing applications.
At the heart of the Tallus series is Shimano's proven TC4 blank construction, combining exceptional durability with impressive sensitivity and lifting power. The result is a rod capable of handling the extreme pressure generated by modern offshore reels and braided line systems while still providing the responsiveness anglers need during long offshore battles.
Designed specifically for stand-up fishing applications, the Tallus features either custom-curved or custom-straight butt configurations depending on the model, providing enhanced leverage, comfort, and fish-fighting control when targeting large offshore species without the use of a fighting chair.
Premium AFTCO roller and stripper guides help ensure smooth line flow under heavy drag pressures, while high-quality reel seats provide secure reel placement and dependable offshore durability in harsh saltwater environments.
Whether you're trolling weedlines for mahi, pulling offshore spreads for wahoo, targeting tuna on the Gulf Coast, or battling large pelagic fish offshore, the Shimano Tallus Stand-Up Rod delivers the power, reliability, and performance serious anglers demand.
