The Shimano Tallus PX Saltwater Spinning Rod is engineered for anglers targeting powerful saltwater gamefish in demanding offshore, nearshore, and heavy inshore environments. Built with Shimano's advanced blank technology and premium components, the Tallus PX delivers the perfect combination of lightweight sensitivity, exceptional casting performance, and the lifting power needed to battle hard-fighting fish.
Designed for serious saltwater anglers, the Tallus PX excels when fishing live bait, large artificial lures, swimbaits, topwater plugs, jigs, and vertical presentations. Whether you're casting to cobia around buoys, targeting tarpon along the beaches, working reefs for snapper and grouper, or chasing kingfish and mahi offshore, the Tallus PX is built to perform in a wide range of saltwater conditions.
The lightweight, responsive blank provides outstanding bite detection and lure control while maintaining the backbone necessary to pressure large fish around reefs, wrecks, bridges, and offshore structure. Premium Fuji® guides and high-quality components are built to withstand the harsh marine environment while delivering smooth braid performance and long-term durability.
Designed to bridge the gap between heavy inshore tackle and dedicated offshore gear, the Tallus PX gives anglers one premium spinning rod capable of handling everything from oversized snook and tarpon to cobia, snapper, kingfish, grouper, and other hard-fighting offshore species.
