Description

The Shimano Ocea Jigger LD 2501MG Left Hand Lever Drag Conventional Jigging Reel is built for serious offshore anglers who demand maximum power, precision, and reliability in deep water jigging applications. Designed for slow pitch jigging, vertical jigging, and deep drop fishing, this high-performance conventional reel delivers the strength needed to target grouper, amberjack, snapper, tuna, and other hard-fighting offshore species.

Engineered with Shimano’s advanced Lever Drag System, the Ocea Jigger LD provides smooth, precise, and consistent drag pressure throughout the fight, giving anglers total control when battling powerful fish around reefs, wrecks, and deep structure. Its rigid HAGANE Body construction eliminates flex under heavy load, creating greater cranking efficiency and improved long-term durability.

Infinity Drive Technology reduces handle resistance under load, allowing for smoother retrieves and significantly more cranking power when working heavy jigs or lifting fish from deep water. The reel is available in both MG (power gear) and HG (high gear) options, giving anglers the choice between maximum torque or faster line pickup depending on their fishing style.

Built specifically for offshore jigging, the Ocea Jigger LD offers excellent line capacity, strong drag performance, and the refined precision Shimano is known for. Whether you're targeting deep water grouper or working knife jigs for aggressive amberjack, this reel is designed to perform under extreme pressure.
