Description

The Shimano Ocea Jigger LD 2500 Lever Drag Reel is a premium offshore conventional reel built for serious slow pitch jigging, vertical jigging, and deep drop fishing. Designed for anglers targeting grouper, snapper, amberjack, tuna, and other powerful offshore species, this reel combines Shimano’s legendary precision engineering with exceptional drag control, cranking power, and all-day jigging comfort.

Built around Shimano’s advanced Lever Drag System, the Ocea Jigger LD 2500 delivers smooth, precise drag pressure with easy on-the-fly adjustments when fighting heavy fish in deep water. Infinity Drive technology reduces handle resistance while increasing winding power, giving anglers better control and less fatigue during long jigging sessions. The rigid HAGANE Body construction eliminates flex under load, keeping gear alignment precise and performance consistent under extreme pressure.

Available in both MG (5.7:1) and HG (6.2:1) gear ratios, anglers can choose between maximum torque for deeper water and heavy loads or faster retrieve speeds for aggressive jig work and covering water efficiently. Its compact, balanced design makes it comfortable to fish all day while maintaining the power needed for true offshore battles.

Whether you're working slow pitch jigs over deep structure or deep dropping for bottom species, the Ocea Jigger LD 2500 delivers the strength, refinement, and reliability serious offshore anglers demand.
