The Shimano Expride Casting Rod is built for anglers who want lightweight performance, exceptional sensitivity, and the versatility to fish a wide range of bass techniques with confidence. Positioned as a true step up in Shimano’s lineup, the Expride delivers premium feel and control without jumping into flagship pricing.
Constructed with Shimano’s Hi-Power X blank technology, the Expride reduces twist under load for more accurate casts and increased power when it matters. The addition of a Carbon Monocoque handle enhances sensitivity by transmitting vibrations directly into your hand, allowing you to detect subtle bites and changes in structure with ease.
Balanced, responsive, and technique-driven, the Expride is a go-to rod for serious freshwater anglers looking to elevate their performance.
