Shimano Baltica Tackle Bag | Premium 3600 & 3700 Fishing Tackle Storage

The Shimano Baltica Tackle Bag is a heavy-duty fishing tackle storage system designed for anglers who want dependable construction, organized storage, and convenient access to their equipment.

Built with heavy-denier ripstop polyester, reinforced double-stitched seams, and corrosion-resistant TPU zippers, the Baltica is designed to withstand the demands of regular freshwater and saltwater fishing.

Available in Medium and Large, each Baltica Tackle Bag includes four utility tackle boxes, giving anglers a complete storage system right out of the box.

Whether you're organizing inshore lures for snook and redfish, offshore terminal tackle for snapper and grouper, or freshwater bass fishing equipment, the Shimano Baltica provides the capacity and durability serious anglers need.

Medium vs. Large Shimano Baltica Tackle Bag

Exterior dimensions are approximate. Tackle, tools, and fishing accessories are not included.

Medium — Compact, Organized Fishing Storage

The Medium Baltica Tackle Bag includes four 3600-size utility boxes, making it a practical choice for anglers who want substantial organization without carrying a large tackle bag.

Best for:

• Inshore artificial lure fishing

• Freshwater bass fishing

• Kayak and smaller-boat setups

• Dock and pier fishing

• Smaller tackle collections

• Everyday fishing trips

Premier's recommendation: Choose the Medium if you want a portable, well-organized tackle bag for regular freshwater or inshore fishing.

Large — Maximum Tackle Capacity

The Large Baltica Tackle Bag includes four larger 3700-size utility boxes.

The additional capacity is especially useful for anglers carrying more hard baits, jigs, terminal tackle, and specialty fishing equipment.

Best for:

• Larger inshore lure collections

• Offshore terminal tackle

• Freshwater tournament fishing

• Multiple fishing techniques

• Boat tackle storage

• Anglers who prefer larger utility boxes

Premier's recommendation: Choose the Large if you regularly carry a broad selection of tackle or want more room to organize your equipment by species and technique.

Includes Four Utility Tackle Boxes

One of the Baltica's biggest advantages is that Shimano includes four utility boxes with each bag.

There's no need to purchase a separate set of tackle trays to get started.

The included boxes allow anglers to separate their tackle by category.

Suggested Inshore Setup

Box 1 — Hard Baits

Topwater plugs, twitchbaits, jerkbaits, and other artificial lures.

Box 2 — Jigheads & Hooks

Jigheads, weighted hooks, and terminal tackle.

Box 3 — Specialty Presentations

Additional artificial lures, weights, and rigging accessories.

Box 4 — Backup Tackle

Spare hooks, swivels, clips, and frequently used components.

Suggested Offshore Setup

Organize your boxes around:

• Snapper and grouper hooks

• Swivels and terminal connections

• Smaller metal jigs

• Assist hooks and split rings

• Weights and rigging accessories

• Other offshore tackle that fits the boxes

Having separate boxes makes it easier to locate the right equipment without sorting through loose tackle.

Heavy-Denier Ripstop Polyester Construction

The Shimano Baltica is built from durable ripstop polyester fabric designed to resist everyday abrasion and wear.

Ripstop construction helps limit the spread of small fabric tears, making it well suited for repeated use around boats, docks, and fishing equipment.

The bag also features reinforced double-stitched seams for additional strength at key construction points.

For anglers who regularly transport heavy tackle boxes, these details help distinguish the Baltica from lighter-duty storage bags.

Corrosion-Resistant TPU Zippers

Saltwater environments are demanding on tackle bags, particularly their zippers.

The Baltica features heavy-duty TPU corrosion-resistant zippers designed for dependable use around saltwater.

These zippers help reduce the corrosion problems commonly associated with conventional metal zipper hardware.

For anglers fishing Florida's Gulf Coast, this is a particularly valuable feature.

Although the zippers are corrosion-resistant, rinsing away salt residue and allowing the bag to dry after fishing will help maintain its condition.

Additional Front & Side Storage Pockets

The Baltica provides accessory storage beyond its four included tackle boxes.

Front and side pockets are useful for organizing:

• Leader spools

• Fishing pliers

• Hook removers

• Small fishing tools

• Extra soft plastic packages

• Spare line

• Fishing accessories

• Personal items

Keeping these items separate from your utility boxes helps reduce clutter and makes frequently used equipment easier to access.

Convenient Carrying Options

The Shimano Baltica includes carrying handles and a shoulder strap for transporting your equipment.

This makes it convenient to move tackle between your vehicle, boat, dock, or fishing location.

The Medium offers a more compact carrying option, while the Large provides additional storage capacity for anglers with more extensive tackle collections.

Premier Tackle Take

The Shimano Baltica Tackle Bag is an excellent choice for anglers who want a durable, well-organized tackle bag without moving to a bulky hard-sided storage system.

What stands out is the combination of heavy-duty ripstop fabric, reinforced stitching, and corrosion-resistant TPU zippers. Those features are particularly important for anglers who regularly fish in saltwater.

The fact that Shimano includes four utility boxes is another major advantage.

Our recommendation:

• Medium: Best for everyday inshore and freshwater fishing with a compact tackle collection.

• Large: Best for anglers carrying more tackle, particularly offshore equipment or multiple artificial lure categories.

For anglers fishing Florida's Gulf Coast regularly, we'd lean toward the Large if storage space on the boat isn't a concern.
