Reaction Innovations Spicy Beaver 4.0

The Reaction Innovations Spicy Beaver 4.0 is a high-action soft-plastic creature bait designed to produce tremendous thumping vibration while maintaining a compact profile.

Built as the more aggressive member of Reaction Innovations' legendary Beaver family, the Spicy Beaver features swimming tails that come alive with very little weight and produce strong action without spreading excessively wide.

Fish it behind a swim jig, Texas rig it around vegetation or punch it through heavy Florida grass. When you want more movement than a traditional creature bait, the Spicy Beaver is built for the job.

High-Action Swimming Tails

The defining feature of the Spicy Beaver is its aggressive tail action.

The twin tails produce a strong thumping vibration while swimming, creating significantly more movement than a traditional flipping-style creature bait.

Reaction Innovations designed the tails to swim within a relatively tight area rather than spreading excessively wide.

The result is plenty of action while maintaining a compact overall profile.

Excellent Swim Jig Trailer

The Spicy Beaver is an outstanding choice as a swim jig trailer.

Its twin tails begin working with very little movement, adding vibration and visual action behind the jig while maintaining a compact presentation.

Use it around:

• Hydrilla
• Kissimmee grass
• Lily pad edges
• Submerged vegetation
• Shallow flats
• Docks
• Canal edges
• Isolated cover

It's particularly effective when bass are actively feeding and you want a trailer that creates more action than a subtle craw or creature bait.

Built for Punching Heavy Cover

The Spicy Beaver isn't limited to moving presentations.

Reaction Innovations also designed it to be an effective punching bait, making it a natural choice for Florida bass fishing.

Rig it Texas-style with the appropriate weight and send it through:

• Hydrilla mats
• Hyacinth
• Matted vegetation
• Lily pads
• Heavy grass
• Thick shallow cover

Its relatively compact profile helps the bait penetrate cover while the active tails provide movement once it breaks through the vegetation.

Action With Light Weights

The Spicy Beaver's tails are designed to swim even when rigged with very light weight.

That gives anglers considerable flexibility when changing presentations.

Fish it lightly weighted around shallow vegetation for a slower fall, or increase the weight when punching dense mats and heavy cover.

Versatile Craw & Creature Bait Profile

Although the Spicy Beaver is known for its swimming action, its 4-inch profile allows it to fill several roles.

Fish it as a:

• Swim jig trailer
• Texas-rigged creature bait
• Punching bait
• Flipping bait
• Pitching bait
• Craw-style presentation
• Moving bait trailer

That versatility makes it easy to adjust your presentation without changing to an entirely different style of soft plastic.

Why Choose the Reaction Innovations Spicy Beaver?

The Spicy Beaver is the choice when you want a creature bait with more action and vibration.

Its swimming tails create substantial movement without dramatically increasing the bait's profile, allowing it to work equally well behind a swim jig or punched through heavy vegetation.

That combination of swimming action and heavy-cover capability makes it an especially versatile bait for Florida bass anglers.

Premier Tackle Take

The Reaction Innovations Spicy Beaver 4.0 is a great fit for Florida bass fishing because it handles two presentations we use constantly — swimming grass and punching heavy vegetation.

Behind a swim jig, the tails provide plenty of thump and movement as you work along grass edges and shallow cover.

When the fish move underneath thick vegetation, rig the same bait for punching and put it directly into the cover.

We especially like that the tails produce strong action without making the bait excessively wide. You get the vibration of an aggressive trailer while retaining a compact profile that can still get through grass.

If you want a Beaver-style bait with more movement and thump, the Spicy Beaver is the one to reach for.
