Rapala X-Rap Twitchin' Mullet
The Rapala X-Rap Twitchin' Mullet is a premium slow-sinking twitch bait designed specifically for inshore saltwater anglers targeting aggressive predators. Built around the profile of one of Florida's most important forage species, the Twitchin' Mullet delivers a wide subsurface walk-the-dog action that perfectly imitates a wounded mullet trying to escape. Its realistic profile, extreme flash, and long-casting performance make it a favorite for snook, redfish, speckled trout, tarpon, and other coastal gamefish.
Unlike traditional twitch baits, the X-Rap Twitchin' Mullet features a relaxed side-to-side glide that stays just below the surface. The slow-sinking design allows anglers to fish the lure with a twitch-pause retrieve, letting it glide naturally into potholes, grass edges, mangrove pockets, oyster bars, and dock pilings where predatory fish wait to ambush bait.
Constructed with Rapala's translucent X-Style body, internal flash, and realistic 3D holographic eyes, the Twitchin' Mullet closely resembles fleeing coastal baitfish. Premium VMC® Coastal Black™ inline single hooks provide outstanding hook penetration while reducing snagging around shallow structure, making it an excellent choice for fishing heavy cover throughout Florida's Gulf Coast.
Whether you're working mangrove shorelines at first light, drifting grass flats on a moving tide, or casting beach troughs during a mullet run, the Rapala X-Rap Twitchin' Mullet delivers the natural presentation and fish-catching action serious inshore anglers depend on.

Why Anglers Choose the Rapala X-Rap Twitchin' Mullet
When mullet are the primary forage, few hard baits match the profile and action of the X-Rap Twitchin' Mullet. Its slow sink, wide gliding action, and ability to stay in the strike zone make it deadly around shallow structure where inshore predators feed. Whether targeting trophy snook beneath mangroves or redfish cruising the flats, it's a lure built to consistently produce explosive reaction strikes.
