Premier Tackle Crystal Shrimp Fly

The Premier Tackle Crystal Shrimp Fly is a premium hand-tied shrimp imitation designed to match one of the most important forage species found throughout Florida's inshore waters. Expertly tied in-house by the skilled fly tiers at Premier Tackle, this realistic pattern combines a translucent profile, subtle flash, and lifelike movement to imitate live shrimp with remarkable accuracy.

Shrimp are a year-round food source for nearly every inshore predator. Whether drifting naturally across shallow grass flats, darting from oyster bars, or swimming along mangrove shorelines, shrimp are constantly targeted by hungry gamefish. The Crystal Shrimp is designed to duplicate this natural prey with soft materials that pulse and breathe with every strip and pause.

Built with premium crystal fibers and carefully selected natural and synthetic materials, this fly creates the translucent appearance of a live shrimp while producing just enough flash to mimic the reflective shell of the real thing. The subtle sparkle helps fish locate the fly in varying water conditions without creating an unnatural presentation, making it highly effective in both clear and lightly stained water.

The Premier Tackle Crystal Shrimp is equally effective for sight-fishing shallow flats or blind casting around productive structure. Fish it over turtle grass, around mangrove roots, along oyster bars, beneath docks, or through sandy potholes where shrimp naturally congregate. A slow strip with occasional pauses closely imitates a shrimp swimming naturally, while quick, short strips replicate the sudden escape movements that often trigger aggressive reaction strikes.

Every Premier Tackle Crystal Shrimp Fly is hand-tied in-house using premium saltwater hooks and durable materials selected to withstand repeated battles with powerful inshore gamefish. Each fly is built with consistency, durability, and performance in mind, ensuring dependable action trip after trip.

Whether you're stalking tailing redfish on flooded flats, casting to cruising snook beneath mangroves, targeting speckled trout over grass beds, or presenting to juvenile tarpon in calm backcountry waters, the Crystal Shrimp delivers the natural presentation and lifelike movement that consistently produces fish.
