The PENN Torque II Lever Drag 2-Speed Conventional Reel is a premium USA-made offshore conventional reel built for anglers who demand maximum drag power, durability, and total control when targeting tuna, grouper, amberjack, swordfish, and other powerful offshore gamefish. Designed for trolling, deep dropping, vertical jigging, and heavy bottom fishing, the Torque II delivers elite performance when serious offshore fishing requires serious equipment.
Built entirely in the USA with precision-machined gold anodized aluminum construction, the Torque II offers exceptional rigidity, corrosion resistance, and long-term durability under extreme offshore conditions. The powerful Dura-Drag™ system provides smooth, consistent drag pressure even under heavy loads, helping anglers maintain control during long fights with large fish.
Its advanced Quick-Shift II™ 2-speed system allows instant shifting between high-speed retrieve and low-gear cranking power, giving anglers the flexibility to recover line quickly or apply maximum torque when lifting fish from deep structure. Stainless steel main and pinion gears provide unmatched strength and long-term reliability under extreme drag pressure.
The topless frame design reduces overall weight while improving spool access and line management, making it ideal for braid-heavy offshore setups and serious big game applications.
Whether you're deep dropping for grouper, trolling for tuna, or battling amberjack over wrecks and reefs, the PENN Torque II Lever Drag is built to perform at the highest level.
