OWNER Double Toad Hook with TwistLOCK

The OWNER Double Toad Hook with TwistLOCK® is a purpose-built double hook designed for rigging soft-plastic toads securely, straight and weedless for bass fishing around grass, lily pads and other vegetation.

OWNER combines a balanced double-hook design with its patented TwistLOCK® Centering-Pin Spring, helping anglers consistently position soft-plastic toads correctly while keeping the bait securely attached through repeated casts and strikes.

For Florida bass anglers fishing surface plastics over hydrilla, pads and shallow vegetation, it's a specialized alternative to rigging a toad on a conventional single wide-gap hook.

TwistLOCK® Rigging System

The patented TwistLOCK® CPS spring screws directly into the nose of the soft plastic.

This creates a centered attachment point that helps keep the toad straight and securely positioned on the hook.

OWNER specifically designed the system to help anglers rig soft-plastic toads correctly and consistently.

Balanced Double-Hook Design

OWNER constructs the Double Toad Hook from three separate pieces of wire, creating a balanced configuration when rigged with a soft-plastic toad.

Instead of relying on a single hook point, the double-hook configuration places a hook on either side of the bait.

Narrower V-Angle

OWNER uses a narrower V-angle between the two hook points.

That geometry not only assists with properly rigging the toad, but also helps the soft plastic slide into the hook gap during the hookset.

Super Needle Points

The Double Toad Hook uses OWNER's Super Needle Points for fast penetration and a black chrome finish for corrosion resistance.

Why Choose the OWNER Double Toad Hook?

The biggest advantage is that the entire hook is designed around fishing a soft-plastic toad.

The TwistLOCK keeps the nose securely centered, the balanced double-hook configuration positions a hook on each side of the bait, and the narrower V-angle helps the plastic move out of the way when a bass strikes.

Rather than adapting a standard EWG hook to a toad, you're using a hook specifically engineered for the presentation.

Premier Tackle Take

The OWNER Double Toad Hook with TwistLOCK is an excellent fit for Florida bass fishing.

Soft-plastic toads are extremely effective around hydrilla, lily pads and shallow grass, and the TwistLOCK system makes it easier to keep the bait properly rigged after repeated casts through vegetation.

We particularly like the combination of secure bait retention and two hook points when fishing a toad across the surface around cover.

This isn't an all-purpose soft-plastic hook. It's a specialized hook for anglers who fish toads—and that's exactly why it deserves a place in the tackle box.
