Nomad Design Lure Rolls | Offshore Trolling & Big Game Lure Storage

Nomad Design Lure Rolls | Offshore Trolling & Big Game Lure Storage

The Nomad Design Lure Roll is a premium offshore lure storage system designed to keep large trolling minnows, stickbaits, poppers, and rigged fishing lures organized, protected, and ready for action.

Built from heavy-duty waterproof tarpaulin with reinforced stitching, the Nomad Lure Roll combines individual clear lure pockets, concealed leader storage, and a convenient roll-up design.

Unlike ordinary tackle bags, the Nomad Lure Roll allows anglers to store large offshore lures with hooks and leaders attached, making it easier to change presentations without sorting through tangled tackle.

Available in Medium and Large, these lure rolls are particularly useful for anglers targeting wahoo, tuna, mahi-mahi, kingfish, and other offshore gamefish.

Medium vs. Large Nomad Lure Roll

Choose the size that matches your offshore lure collection.

Capacity varies depending on lure size, hook configuration, and rigging.

Medium Lure Roll — Compact Offshore Storage

The Medium Nomad Lure Roll features six individual storage pockets and is designed for anglers who carry a focused selection of offshore trolling and casting lures.

It accommodates up to 12 Nomad DTX 220 minnows or approximately 15 Madmacs, depending on size and rigging.

Best for:

• Smaller offshore trolling spreads

• Rigged DTX Minnows

• Madmacs trolling lures

• Offshore stickbaits

• Poppers

• Center-console storage

• Anglers wanting compact organization

Premier's recommendation: Choose the Medium if you typically carry a dozen or so larger offshore lures and want a compact storage system.

Large Lure Roll — Maximum Offshore Lure Capacity

The Large Nomad Lure Roll features 10 individual storage pockets, providing considerably more capacity for serious offshore anglers.

It holds up to 22 Nomad DTX 220 minnows or approximately 30 Madmacs.

Best for:

• Larger offshore trolling spreads

• Multiple DTX Minnow sizes and colors

• Madmacs collections

• Big-game trolling lures

• Offshore poppers and stickbaits

• Extended offshore trips

• Tournament fishing

• Anglers carrying multiple rigged presentations

Premier's recommendation: Choose the Large if you regularly carry multiple lure sizes, colors, and rigged leaders. The additional capacity is worthwhile for anglers who fish offshore frequently.

Store Lures with Hooks & Leaders Attached

One of the biggest advantages of the Nomad Design Lure Roll is its concealed leader storage system.

Large offshore lures are often rigged with heavy leaders, swivels, and strong hooks.

Storing these lures loose in a tackle bag can result in tangled leaders, scratched finishes, and damaged tackle.

The Nomad Lure Roll helps keep individual lures separated while providing dedicated space to organize their leaders.

This allows anglers to:

• Store pre-rigged offshore lures

• Reduce tangled leaders and hooks

• Organize different lure colors and sizes

• Make faster lure changes

• Protect expensive lure finishes

• Keep trolling tackle ready between trips

For offshore anglers who regularly change trolling presentations, this can save valuable time on the water.

Heavy-Duty Waterproof Tarpaulin Construction

The Nomad Lure Roll is built from rugged waterproof tarpaulin with double-stitched construction for demanding marine environments.

The material is designed to withstand regular exposure to spray, wet decks, and offshore fishing conditions.

Heavy-duty clear PVC windows make identifying stored lures easier without opening every pocket.

Important: Although the tarpaulin material is waterproof, the lure roll incorporates drainage mesh and is not a sealed, submersible waterproof container.

Drainage Mesh for Easy Cleaning

Each storage pocket features drainage mesh, allowing anglers to rinse their lures after fishing.

Instead of removing every lure individually, you can rinse the stored tackle with fresh water and allow excess water to drain.

Hanging tabs make it easy to suspend the lure roll while the contents dry.

This is particularly useful when fishing saltwater, where hooks, split rings, and other metal components should be rinsed and dried after use.

For long-term storage, make sure the lures and rigging are completely dry.

Converts from Lure Roll to Carry Bag

The Nomad Design Lure Roll offers two practical storage configurations.

Roll Configuration: Roll the organizer into a compact package for convenient storage in boat compartments or tackle lockers.

Bag Configuration: Clip the organizer together to create a convenient carrying format for transporting lures between the boat, vehicle, and tackle storage area.

This versatility makes it useful for anglers who want one system for storing, transporting, and organizing offshore lures.

Ideal for Nomad DTX Minnows & Madmacs

The Nomad Lure Roll is especially well suited for organizing larger offshore lures, including:

Nomad DTX Minnows

Designed for offshore trolling applications, DTX Minnows are available in a range of sizes and diving depths.

Keeping several sizes and colors organized makes it easier to adjust your trolling spread.

Nomad Madmacs

Madmacs are popular high-speed trolling lures for targeting offshore predators such as tuna and wahoo.

The Lure Roll allows anglers to keep multiple Madmacs organized with their leaders ready for use.

Offshore Stickbaits & Poppers

Large casting lures can also be stored in the individual pockets, helping prevent hooks from tangling with other tackle.

Premier Tackle Take

The Nomad Design Lure Roll is one of the better storage solutions for anglers who regularly fish expensive offshore trolling and casting lures.

What we like most is the ability to keep lures rigged with their leaders attached while still separating hooks and protecting lure finishes.

The clear pockets make finding the right lure easy, and the drainage mesh simplifies cleaning after a day offshore.

Our recommendation:

• Medium: Best for anglers carrying a smaller selection of pre-rigged offshore lures.

• Large: Best for serious offshore anglers with extensive DTX Minnow, Madmacs, and big-game lure collections.

If you carry multiple trolling spreads, we'd lean toward the Large for its additional capacity.
