Iland Lures Jr. Ilander
The Iland Lures Jr. Ilander packs all the legendary fish-catching performance of the original Ilander into a smaller, more compact profile that's perfect when offshore gamefish are feeding on smaller bait or sea conditions call for a finesse presentation.
At 6-3/4 inches and 1-3/4 ounces, the Jr. Ilander features a precision bullet head that tracks straight, minimizes drag, and prevents lure spin, allowing it to troll cleanly at higher speeds. It performs exceptionally well on its own but is most effective when rigged with a ballyhoo or strip bait, creating one of offshore fishing's most proven trolling combinations.
Whether you're trolling weed lines for mahi, working offshore ledges for wahoo, or targeting sailfish and tuna over bluewater, the Jr. Ilander delivers the lifelike swimming action and flash that consistently draws strikes from pelagic predators.
Tournament-proven and trusted by offshore captains around the world, the Jr. Ilander has earned its reputation as one of the most productive offshore trolling lures ever made.

Premier Tackle Insight
The Jr. Ilander is one of those offshore lures that has stood the test of time because it simply catches fish. At Premier Tackle, we especially like it when fish are keyed in on smaller baitfish or the water is calm and a full-size lure produces too much commotion.
Our favorite way to fish the Jr. Ilander is rigged over a medium ballyhoo and run from an outrigger or flat line. The bullet head keeps the lure tracking perfectly while the skirt adds just the right amount of flash and action without overpowering the natural bait.
We've also found it to be an outstanding choice for Gulf Coast mahi, blackfin tuna, kingfish, and sailfish, especially around weed lines, color changes, and floating debris. When the bite gets tough, downsizing to the Jr. Ilander is often the adjustment that turns lookers into biters.
If you're putting together a serious offshore trolling spread, the Jr. Ilander is one of those confidence lures that deserves a permanent place in the lineup.
