The Iland Lures Black Hole is a unique offshore trolling lure that combines the fish-attracting action of a trolling lure with the smoke trail and commotion of a teaser. Designed with Iland's innovative head design, the Black Hole begins producing an aggressive bubble and smoke trail at speeds as low as 4 knots and continues performing at virtually unlimited trolling speeds, making it an incredibly versatile addition to any offshore spread.

The Black Hole is one of those offshore lures that earns its name by creating an incredible amount of commotion without adding unnecessary drag. At Premier Tackle, we like using it when we want to make our trolling spread more visible, especially around weed lines, color changes, and offshore structure where pelagic fish are actively feeding.
Its ability to start producing a smoke trail at relatively slow speeds while remaining stable at much higher speeds gives it tremendous versatility. We especially like rigging it over a medium or large ballyhoo for mahi, tuna, sailfish, and wahoo, but it also fishes exceptionally well by itself when predators are aggressively chasing bait.
