The Hardy Fortuna Regent Fly Reel is built for serious saltwater fly anglers who demand elite drag performance, flawless sealing, and absolute confidence when big fish are on the line. Designed for tarpon, permit, giant trevally, tuna, and other hard-running gamefish, the Fortuna Regent delivers powerful control, rapid line retrieval, and the rugged durability needed for the harshest saltwater environments.
Featuring a sealed carbon fiber multi-pad disc drag system housed within a fully waterproof drag casing, the Fortuna Regent offers smooth, positive, and linear drag adjustment with exceptional stopping power. The advanced tension regulator allows precise drag tuning with one full turn, while the optimized drag window makes fast adjustments easy during high-pressure fights. Depending on the model, the reel delivers between 10 and 20 pounds of top-end drag.
The large arbor design provides faster line pickup and reduced line memory, while the narrow spool profile improves level stacking of fly line during battle. Built from premium materials with Hardy’s legendary craftsmanship, the Fortuna Regent is designed to withstand brutal saltwater abuse while maintaining smooth, reliable performance season after season.
Supplied with a Hardy neoprene reel pouch for added protection, this is a true big-game fly reel built for anglers who refuse compromise.
