Description

Built for anglers who demand precision, power, and true saltwater performance, the G. Loomis IMX-PRO V2S Fly Rod is engineered for serious fly fishermen targeting tarpon, permit, redfish, snook, bonefish, striped bass, and other powerful saltwater species. Designed to thrive in harsh coastal environments, the IMX-PRO V2S delivers elite tracking, superior line control, and the confidence needed when every cast matters.

Developed as the next generation of G. Loomis’ legendary saltwater fly platform, the IMX-PRO V2S is built with advanced Conduit Core and GL7 resin system technology, creating a lightweight yet incredibly strong blank with exceptional impact resistance and durability. The rod’s slightly tighter tip design helps minimize tailing loops, improve tracking in the wind, and deliver tighter, more accurate presentations at long distances.

Designed with purpose-driven actions throughout the rod, the IMX-PRO V2S improves line pickup, fish-fighting control, and casting efficiency whether you're making short technical shots or long-distance presentations on windy flats. Its proprietary blend of materials reduces unnecessary weight while maintaining the strength needed when a “send” quickly turns into a “bend.”
