The Fulling Mill X-Mas Island Special Pearl S6 is a proven saltwater flats fly designed to imitate shrimp and other small crustaceans that redfish, snook, speckled trout, and juvenile tarpon feed on throughout Florida's Gulf Coast. Lightweight, versatile, and highly effective, this pattern has become a trusted choice for anglers targeting shallow-water predators in clear, technical fishing situations.
Featuring a subtle pearl coloration and realistic shrimp profile, the X-Mas Island Special excels on grass flats, sand potholes, oyster bars, mangrove shorelines, and shallow backcountry waters. Its natural appearance and lifelike movement create an enticing presentation that consistently produces strikes from cruising and tailing fish.
Designed for sight fishing applications, this fly lands softly and fishes naturally, making it an excellent choice when targeting wary redfish in shallow water or snook feeding along mangrove edges. The lightly weighted design allows the fly to settle naturally into the strike zone while maintaining an appealing profile throughout the retrieve.
Whether you're stalking redfish across Sarasota Bay flats, targeting snook around mangroves, or fishing shallow potholes for trout, the X-Mas Island Special Pearl S6 is a versatile pattern that deserves a permanent place in every Gulf Coast fly box.
