The Daiwa Sea Power 1200 Electric Reel is built for serious offshore anglers who demand powerful deep drop performance without stepping into ultra-premium price territory. Designed for deep water bottom fishing, swordfishing, and heavy offshore applications, the Sea Power 1200 delivers exceptional winding power, speed, and reliability for targeting powerful species in extreme depths.
Powered by a high-performance brushed variable speed motor and supported by an oversized planetary gearing system, the Sea Power 1200 delivers an impressive 108 lbs of momentary winding power and 66 lbs of drag pressure. With a rapid retrieve rate of up to 140 yards per minute, this reel allows anglers to work deep water efficiently while maintaining the strength needed to handle serious fish.
Its oversized line guide makes winding heavy leaders, swivels, and large connections onto the spool smooth and efficient, while the large aluminum handle knob provides secure grip and control when manual operation is needed. The easy-to-read multi-language LED display allows quick access to reel functions and simple adjustments on the water.
With massive line capacity—holding up to 1,110 yards of 80 lb Daiwa J-Braid—the Sea Power 1200 is perfectly suited for deep dropping grouper, tilefish, swordfish, snowy grouper, and other offshore bottom species where power and line capacity are critical.
