Costa Del Mar Whitetip 580P Polarized Fishing Sunglasses
The Costa Del Mar Whitetip 580P Polarized Fishing Sunglasses are built for anglers who want serious on-water performance in a compact, close-fitting frame. With a high-coverage wrap, lightweight 580P polarized lenses and a narrow fit, the Whitetip is an excellent choice for long days fishing, boating and spending time around the water.
Designed with a Base 8 wraparound profile, the Whitetip provides maximum coverage to help reduce glare and unwanted light entering around the sides of the frame. Its narrower fit makes it particularly well suited for anglers who find many traditional full-wrap fishing sunglasses too wide or oversized.
The frame also incorporates a vented front, gripper temple holes and cam-action pin hinges, combining secure fit and functional performance in a classic Costa fishing design.
Costa 580P Polarized Lens Technology
The Whitetip 580P features Costa's lightweight polarized polycarbonate lenses, designed to deliver excellent clarity, glare reduction and impact resistance without the additional weight of glass.
Costa's 580 lens technology filters harsh yellow light and manages high-energy blue light while enhancing reds, greens and blues. This improves contrast and definition in bright, reflective environments and helps anglers see more clearly on and around the water.
The 580P polycarbonate construction is lightweight and highly impact resistant, making it an excellent choice for active fishing and boating. Compared with Costa's 580G glass lenses, 580P provides a noticeable weight advantage while maintaining the polarization and color-enhancing benefits of Costa's 580 technology.
Costa's C-WALL® lens coating adds scratch resistance and helps repel water, oil and sweat for easier cleaning and dependable everyday performance.

Why Choose 580P?
Costa's 580P lenses are an excellent choice for anglers who prioritize lightweight comfort and impact resistance.
The polycarbonate construction weighs less than Costa's 580G glass while still providing Costa's premium polarization and 580 color-enhancing technology. For anglers who wear sunglasses from sunrise through the end of the fishing day, that reduced weight can make a meaningful difference in comfort.
The added impact resistance also makes 580P particularly well suited for active fishing, boating and everyday use around the water.
Why Choose the Costa Whitetip?
The Whitetip's biggest advantage is its combination of maximum coverage and a narrower fit.
Many high-coverage fishing frames are designed around medium-to-large faces. The Whitetip gives anglers who need a smaller frame the close-fitting Base 8 wrap and peripheral protection expected from a serious performance fishing sunglass.
Pair that frame with lightweight 580P lenses and you have a Costa that's comfortable enough for all-day wear without sacrificing the coverage anglers want on the water.
Premier Tackle Take
The Costa Whitetip 580P is one of the models we'd look at first for an angler with a narrower face who still wants a true wraparound fishing frame.
You get excellent coverage, Costa 580 polarization and the lighter weight of polycarbonate lenses in a frame designed specifically for fishing and boating.
If you've tried larger Costa frames and found them too wide, the Whitetip is definitely worth trying.
