Description

Built for aggressive freshwater bass fishing, the Cortland Specialty Series Bass Fly Line is designed to deliver powerful casts, fast loading performance, and effortless turnover of large flies. Whether you're throwing big poppers, bulky streamers, or heavy bass bugs on ponds, rivers, lakes, or reservoirs, this fly line is engineered to help serious bass anglers fish more effectively all season long.

The Specialty Series Bass Taper features a short, aggressive weight-forward head that loads fast and turns over oversized flies with ease. Designed specifically for bass applications, the powerful front taper helps punch through wind and delivers accurate presentations even with large, air-resistant patterns that standard fly lines struggle to handle.

Built with a full line size heavy taper, this floating fly line helps maximize rod loading for faster casting and improved control on modern fast-action rods. The braided nylon multifilament core provides excellent flexibility, durability, and smooth handling, while the slick coating remains quick-shooting and dependable throughout the warm summer months.

Whether you're targeting largemouth bass around structure or explosive topwater smallmouth bites, the Cortland Specialty Series Bass Fly Line gives anglers the power and performance needed to fish bigger flies with confidence.
