Cortland Saltwater Tapered Leader
The Cortland Saltwater Tapered Leader is designed to deliver the smooth turnover, strength, and abrasion resistance required for today's saltwater fly anglers. Precision tapered to transfer energy efficiently from the fly line to the fly, these leaders provide accurate presentations while maintaining the durability needed to battle powerful saltwater species.
Built from premium leader material, Cortland Saltwater Tapered Leaders feature a carefully engineered taper that turns over everything from small shrimp and baitfish patterns to larger streamers with ease. Their excellent knot strength and abrasion resistance help anglers fish confidently around oyster bars, mangroves, docks, grass flats, and rocky structure where big fish are often found.
