Invisible Leadline Technology

Instead of individual exterior leads hanging from the bottom of the net, the weight is contained inside a flexible leadline. This eliminates many of the catch points created by traditional exterior weights.

Black Pearl combines commercial-grade netting with its six-panel MaxSpread design, which uses oversized netting panels intended to help the net spread and open efficiently.

The netting itself is a high-grade limp monofilament selected to remain flexible rather than stiff and bulky. A limper net is easier to load in the hand and allows the net to open more freely during the cast.

Reinforced Where It Matters

Black Pearl uses gold double selvage around both the horn and leadline.

These are two areas that experience significant wear during repeated casting, retrieval and contact with the bottom. Doubling the netting in these areas adds reinforcement without making the entire net unnecessarily heavy or stiff.

The Invi Series also incorporates a large commercial-grade four-way horn and heavy-duty brass swivel.

Designed for Maximum Closure

Braille lines pull the bottom of a cast net together during retrieval, trapping the bait inside.

Black Pearl uses an increased number of 100 lb braille lines to provide strong, even closure of the net. The absence of exposed lead weights also removes many of the points where braille lines traditionally become caught or tangled.

30-Foot Floating Handline

The Invi Series includes a 30-foot, 3/8-inch hollow-braided floating handline.

The additional length is useful when throwing farther from the boat or allowing the net to reach bait holding deeper in the water column.

Choosing the Right Black Pearl Cast Net

For smaller bait such as pilchards and smaller sardines, smaller mesh helps prevent bait from becoming gilled in the net.

Larger mesh allows water to move through the net more easily and generally produces faster sink characteristics, making it useful when bait is larger or holding deeper.
