The Avet LX 6/3 Raptor Plus N/MC 2-Speed Lever Drag Reel is a powerful, American-made conventional reel built for serious offshore anglers who need high line capacity, heavy drag performance, and the versatility of a true two-speed system.
Premier Tackle carries the LX 6/3 Raptor Plus N/MC in both right-hand and left-hand retrieve, making this heavy-duty offshore reel available to anglers who often have limited choices when looking for a left-handed conventional reel.
The Raptor Plus delivers up to 28 pounds of drag at strike and 38 pounds at full, providing the stopping power needed for hard-fighting offshore species. Its two-speed gearing allows anglers to quickly switch between 6.0:1 high gear for fast line pickup and 2.8:1 low gear for additional cranking power when a big fish digs deep.
Built around a precision-machined aluminum frame with stainless-steel gearing, the LX Raptor Plus combines strength and rigidity with a manageable 25-ounce reel weight. Avet's dry carbon-fiber drag system delivers smooth, consistent pressure, while its silent dog-and-gear anti-reverse system is engineered for dependable performance under heavy loads.
