The Accurate ATD Platinum Twin Drag Reel is a flagship big game lever drag reel built for anglers who demand maximum drag power, precision control, and unmatched durability when targeting the world's strongest saltwater species. Designed for serious offshore and big game fishing, the ATD Platinum represents the highest level of Accurate engineering and performance.
Machined from aircraft-grade aluminum, the ATD Platinum is built to handle extreme pressure while maintaining structural integrity under heavy drag loads. Its oversized design and heavy-duty gearing provide the power needed to battle giant tuna, marlin, swordfish, and other offshore giants.
At the core of the ATD is Accurate's patented TwinDrag® system, which applies equal pressure to both sides of the spool. This delivers incredibly smooth, consistent drag performance even at high settings, reducing heat buildup and eliminating the uneven pressure found in traditional drag systems. The result is superior control during long, high-stress fights.
The lever drag system allows for precise, repeatable drag settings from free spool to full strike, giving anglers the confidence to adjust pressure instantly when conditions change. Combined with a high line capacity and powerful retrieve, the ATD Platinum is built for trolling, chunking, and stand-up big game fishing.
Designed for professionals, captains, and serious offshore anglers, the ATD Platinum is a true big game reel built for the toughest fights in the ocean.
